Night 7 - Twas a Dark and Stormy Night

Honestly, when Boss Vahlia is tanning in Town Center, occasionally looking up, tilting down her white sunglasses, and telling a Townie "No, don't do that, do this," one has to wonder exactly what's going on in the City these days.

At any rate, there was a brief shower of votes for DahliaXKristoph today before the redhead turned the tides and inspired a torrent of votes for Phoenix_Apollo. Deciding it was wiser to give in under the pressure rather then bother fighting against the will of the almighty Boss Vahlia, he spent the rest of the day handing out flyers and arguing with citizens over who was a better lynch, him or Boss Vahlia, along with a couple other citizens.

The Town was not particularly interested, however.

As the sun went down, it grew cloudy over the City, with some distant sounds of thunder. Paying little attention to this change in the weather (although Boss Vahlia seemed rather annoyed, stomping back to the Imperial Hotel to fetch a warmer outfit and muttering over the scizophrenic weather of this City) and started to crowd around Phoenix_Apollo. They hadn't been able to lynch someone THEY chose in ages, and damnit, they were going to do so today!

Phoenix_Apollo, aka Aoshi, Leader of Team Aoshi's last words were something about not even death being able to stop his eternal love for Allan Aokage, something that will probably lead to his grave being danced on later, and he was then shot dead.

More importantly, with the death of Aoshi, the Game Master Faction Team Aoshi is no more. As the gravity of this sunk in, it started raining heavily. It appears we will be experiencing violent thunderstorms for the next day or so and-

Town Center grew quiet as the screens above and around the stage announcing the phase results suddenly went black and silent. Even Boss Vahlia was baffled as she peered out from the now completely dark halls of the Imperial Hotel. Citizens didn't spend much time in Town Center pondering this, however, with the most intelligent of them scurrying off to hide indoors from the crashing thunder and pouring rain.

Hope you're not afraid of the dark, because Mafia City appears to be experiencing a blackout.
